Alligators, Snakes, Turtles, Egrets, Herons, Ibis, Hawks, Owls, Bald Eagles, White-tailed deer, Nutria, Raccoons and more!
Again, there’s no bad time to go. Our favorite times are April, late October and early November. Winter can be a great because the summer grass that is typically six feet tall is now only inches high. This means you’ll see more nutria and deer, and the migratory birds such as waterfowl and the bald eagles. Alligators are tough to find when temps drop below 70 degrees, no matter what time of year, but they can be found throughout the winter on warmer days. Plus, there is so much more to the tour than just seeing alligators, that any time of year is a great time to visit.
The ideal duration for renting a kayak depends on several factors, including your experience level, desired activity, and the location you plan to explore. Here are some general guidelines to help you decide:
1. Quick Paddle (1-2 Hours)
•Ideal for beginners or those looking for a brief outing.
•Great for exploring nearby waterways or just enjoying a short, leisurely paddle.
•Recommended if you have a tight schedule or are trying kayaking for the first time.
2. Half-Day (3-4 Hours)
•Perfect for a more extensive exploration without committing to a full day.
•Allows time to paddle to a destination, take breaks, and enjoy some scenery.
•Suitable for moderate-level kayakers looking to explore larger areas.
3. Full-Day (6 Hours)
•Best for experienced kayakers planning an all-day adventure.
•Ideal for exploring extensive waterways, or taking a long, leisurely trip.
•Provides ample time for breaks, picnics, and leisurely paddling without the pressure of a time constraint.
Additional Considerations:
•Weather and Conditions: Always check the weather forecast and water conditions. Unfavorable weather can affect the duration of your trip.
•Fitness Level: Ensure that your rental period matches your stamina and comfort level.
• Setup Time: Factor in extra time for setting up and transporting the kayak to and from the water. We recommend at least 15 minutes.
The security deposit is simply a hold on your credit card. Once you properly end your rental, and return the equipment damage free the deposit on your credit card will be released.

There is nothing like taking a kayak or a paddle board and heading out on the water on a perfect day. Of course there is also the hassle of loading the boats, driving to the river, unloading, forgetting your life jacket or paddles, then you still have to load everything back up and take it all home and store it all! What if you don’t own a kayak, or a truck?
This is why we believe in this solution. The station is located on the river with everything you will need, just rent your unit, come to the station, unlock it and get on the water. Get back to hassle-free enjoyment of the great outdoors. You can rent a unit on your schedule, without having to wait for a shop to open, or worrying about when it will close.
